Symptoms:

You may notice passwords expire after a certain period of time. You may also want to change when users need to change their password. By following these instructions you can set the number of days for users password to be valid.

How to set the number of days in maintenance:

Go to 6161 and select option 1 > Question 3 – “Number of days for users password to be valid” – Here you can change the number of days for the password validity before it will expire.

Check to see if the change has been effective:

Reset the user’s password and monitor how long before it expires.
